When Will The Quantum Revolution Happen?

I claimed that quantum computing would change our world in my previous post. Therefore, the time is now to start learning quantum computing.
One of my readers asked the legitimate question of when I expect the quantum revolution to happen.
Of course, it would be presumptuous to say I knew when this revolution would happen. After all, I am not an oracle.
Therefore, all I can give is my two quanta.
The expression “my two cents” is shorthand for “my two pennies worth.” It is a way of offering one’s opinion and saying that it is only worth two pennies. While I like this humble way of valuing an opinion at only two cents, it is inappropriate in the context of quantum computing. For a quantum (plural quanta) is the smallest possible discrete unit of any physical property, I believe “my two quanta” is a better measure of my opinion.
TL;DR: My answer is: “We are experiencing this revolution already!”
So, let me go back a little to explain why I believe that we’re in the middle of this revolution.
