Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear that the title and the whole article appear to be misleading. Because it is not what I aim for.
The article is about the create-react-app (CRA) script. The message of the article is what you implicitly said: CRA is no panacea solution. CRA is a great tool, though. But it stops at a certain point: when it comes to deployment. And I completely agree that CRA does not support you writing your APIs. Although this is important.
Of course, there are plenty of good hosting options. But they’re not built into CRA. Of course, React is more than CRA. I did not claim to provide all the facts of CRA and React.
With that in mind, I don’t agree with the title to be clickbait. It aims to raise some interest. Yes. It aims not to spoil the entire content, but to create tension. Yes. But this is the whole purpose of any title.
The article is opinionated. The article represents my personal view. But I don’t agree with the point of obtusely misrepresenting CRA or React.
These are great tools. But there’s always something missing.
