I am convinced that the ability to do the job (including some experience) coupled with being passionate about it make you the best candidate. The problem is that a recruiter can't assess these things easily. Therefore, they fall back to formal qualification. But once you build up trust, you can get almost any job, regardless of any formal qualification. My analysis only shiwed that most job offers ask for a Ph.D. But I don't know how strict these employers are. My recommendation: reach out to them
